My personal thoughts on my children's education: I want the best for my kids. I expect that the elected officials that were elected by "We the People" do their best to ETHICALLY provide the best education for my children.

My thoughts regarding "old buildings": Just because a building is old does not make it un-occuable. Yes work needs to be done to keep them up and current with the latest building codes, but just because its old does not mean it has to go. Last time I checked a lot of the buildings in Rome, Paris, London, Washington D.C. were not built within the last decade. If the age of the building is your sole argument for school consolidation, then you need to come up with something else. Buildings can be modified and adjusted to meet current needs. Most of the time it is cost saving to do so.

My thoughts on the "Ford City Commission" (you know like the old New York Commision of Lucky Luciano, Meyer Lansky, Dutch Schultz, et. al.): These guys need to be taught a lesson. It seems that every time I see these guys names in the news its not good. I'm just saying.

My thoughts on the Elderton situation: The board voted to close the school and it closed. I am sure that there were growing pains associated with the closure and relocation, but for the most part it seems as though it all worked it self out. Why go through the expense to re-open the building and re-assign the students. It is an ancient proverb that says: The good of the many outweighs the needs of the few or the one.

My thoughts on our responsibilities of citizens: We as citizens need to make informed choices when we enter the ballot box. If we don't we can expect more of what we are experiencing now.
